Made in Chicago in the late 1940's, this early version of the K2 Rain King has the large bolt on the bottom and not the three screws that became a newer design. I think this is factory paint, and is in amazing condition. Has jets on the arms. I have not tested it (freezing here!), but I see no reason why this metal workhorse will not work. It spins freely with no noise, so I know the bearing is good. Sunbeam Rain Kings were known for a precise spray, and operated well with less than optimal water pressure. You don't find many in this condition, so snap it up!
