This gorgeous vacuum cleaner is arguably the best design of all the Electrolux Canister vacuums produced from 1924 until today. This Model XXX was made from 1937-1954 and was the longest model in production within the company history.
I put some time into a light restoration to bring back it's art deco glory. Each part was meticulously cleaned and polished. All chrome and aluminum has been buffed to a nice shine. The inside was cleaned out of all dirt, including washing the canvas bag. The motor is strong and works very well. The hose is not frayed like many other fiber encased hoses are. Comes with a new filter in the bag, along with the original filter that has been washed clean.
You get all the wands, heads, and accessories shown, including the hard to find glass floor waxer with the Electrolux logo embossed on the glass. The Rug Washer is also included, but take note that the plastic is broken. I cleaned it up, but cannot fix the housing. On display, you cannot tell. If you try to use it, it may leak. The extra long flexible rubber cord is the original cord, and has been repaired by a previous owner.
I would say this is one of the nicer complete collections of accessories that are matched to this retro beauty.
