Thought I'd try something different with this sale, as most of my items are cleaned up and ready to use. The condition of this 1960 Thunderbird replicates the thing nowadays- the "barn find" classic car. I intentionally left on the dirt as I found this, literally from a collector's wooden tool shed. We have plenty of damage here, with the missing grill, chipped rear quarter, and wheels that look like they came from the muddy barn floor! This is how you'd find one in the wild! Some toy companies are now replicating this look on their new-in-the-box toys. Made by AMT in Birmingham Michigan before Ertl bought them. The chassis is metal, body a thicker plastic, and the front axle is friction powered with a gear. Rear axle is rusted seized. Have an authentic model "barn find"!
