VCR's first came out in 1977, and had minor upgrades to this year- 1981. Look at the knobs! Remember those? It powers up, all lights work, and it attempts to play the tape (motor works). I can see it needs a belt on the left reel to make it fully function when I look at the chassis. Look at the pictures. I could not find a belt kit, but you might be able to. Body is in good shape with no cracks! Has a couple scratches that I'd consider normal wear for it's age. It's a weighty item at 22 pounds. A cool retro piece that doesn't exist much anymore!
