This is a very handsome and large table top radio- made in Holland for North American Phillips (Norelco) in 1960. It has longwave, shortwave, midwave, and FM frequencies. Two speakers on each side create a stereo sound. The buttons at the top are tone buttons, like a pre-set equalizer for different sounds.
This easily brings in FM stations, so I'd say it works good. I could not capture any long wave or short wave frequencies, but maybe it's my area or lack of broadcasters. One speaker sounds louder than the other, and the balance doesn't seem to make a difference. The dials move across the face all the way. No humming or static. Dial lights up nicely. Solid wood cabinet with a vinyl feel top that is in near mint condition.
This is a large radio that is a statement piece, weighing in at over 17 pounds!
