About The Antique Slinger

One day as I was heading out to sell to a customer, I slung the bag of antiques over my shoulder, and it hit me - I'm slinging antiques! I am the Antique Slinger.
Like the wild western gunslingers showing off their pistols around town, I’m showing off my old things around this town. But I’m not bringing you trouble, I’m bringing you a relic, an artifact, a forgotten memory. And when I deliver, then “pow pow pow”, you’ve been visited by The Antique Slinger.
To get these into your hands, I will come to you, slinging you your antique. I make a deal where I need to, your place or mine. I frequent auctions, online marketplaces, and yard sales and catch things that are passed by so many others. I see quality or uniqueness - and I’m usually right.
I resell items that others give to me to sell, and they end up getting slung somewhere to a good home. I love loading up my old red wagon and slinging boxes of sold items to the town post office for shipment. Here in Chicago, it’s a sight that is definitely out of place!
Its become a passion now, as I love the thrill of winning the auction bid, then the thrill of cleaning them up, then the thrill of researching the product that gives provenance to this forgotten relic, then the thrill of making a new deal with a happy buyer.
